On November 19th I requested another correspondent child from Compassion and on Wednesday, only 9 days later, I was assigned one!

Typical houses in his community are constructed of dirt floors, mud walls and corrugated iron roofs. The regional diet consists of bananas, chicken, rice, bread, ragi (grain) and wheat. Common health problems in this area include fevers, gastrointestinal disorders, dysentery, malaria, chickenpox, coughing and wheezing. Most adults work as day laborers and earn the equivalent of $111 per month. This community needs proper sanitation, potable water and adult literacy programs.

  1. He is SO stinkin cute! What a coincidence that he is from India ;) I can't wait to hear more about him as you get to know him!

    1. I know! Whenever I ask for correspondent children, I never ask for anything specific. I now have three correspondent children from India, on top of my two sponsored children from India. You think God is trying to tell me something?
