I've Always Been a Worrywort

To fill in some new followers, I've been waiting for this month to happen. This is the month that I thought I would be getting a raise. My job started a new career ladder so teachers can rise through the ranks as their experience, education, and committment improve.

I thought, mistakingly, that I would be getting that raise this month. It turns out that the career ladder process is starting this month and I won't be getting a raise until June.

Student loan payments start in about a week.

I just took on another sponsorship committment.

I'm worried about paying my bills and buying food.

I'm praying with hope and believing that God knows what he is doing and that he will provide.

I'm still scared.

  1. A verse that I hang on to because I'm a worry wart too is Jeremiah 29:11. God does and will provide. Hang on to that and see how He works :o)!

    Blessings!

  2. I am praying for you :) I am sure God will provide, even if you have to make a few other cutbacks.

I know myself I do without other things so I can sponser kids. I don't have television channels, nor do I have a cellphone, and I get by quite easily. Just any little area helps. But if you have no where to cut back, then God will find another way. You'll be okay. Don't forget He loves you, and He loves your sponser child, and He'll look after you both.
