Love from Ethiopia

Included in the big group of letters that I received, two of those letters were from Ethiopia, one of which came with a picture. Always exciting!

I'll share my letter from Taye first. He's a man of few words, but the few words are usually pretty lovely.

Taye is 18 years old. His picture is way overdue (I actually have an inquiry out for it) so he looks so young in his picture. He wrote his letter on August 8th, 2015.

Now, the letter from Elias. Elias has a wonderful financial sponsor who frequently sends him family gifts. Then, I always get some great pictures! I am so happy to hear about what Elias's father was able to purchase with this gift!

Elias is 16 years old. This letter is dated August 4th, 2015.

Dear Kayla,

How are you doing? How is your family? How is work? Praise God, my family and I are fine. I am learning my education properly. Your support is helping my family too. I am getting exercise books, pens, shoes, clothes, flour, teff, and cooking oil. Thank you and may God bless you and your family. I passed to 5th grade in school, with good results. I am very happy. I hope you will be too. Currently, it is the rainy season and school break, so I help my family and home and attend tutoring class. I also attend Sunday school properly, which is helping me in my life. I have got your gift money for my family and my birthday gift. I am very happy. Thank you so much. I bought clothes, shoes, and mobile machine with it. My father began a small business by repairing mobile phones. Thank you for your support. What is the weather life? What is the season? Pray for me and my family. Bye.

Elias
