Abu's Progress Report: 2013

I have to start out by saying how absolutely shocked I am that I'm even writing this post. For the last two years, I have not received a progress report from Abu. With World Vision, these are supposed to come yearly, typically during the summer months. Then, at the beginning of this year, World Vision Sierra Leone completely revamped itself. They went under new leadership, started a rocking Facebook group, and have been sharing regular updates. It's really been great to watch.

With this new leadership and amazing new programs, they also mailed out progress reports. Praise God! Abu is 11 years old now.

  1. Wow! Great changes with the new leadership. Your chubby cheeked, baby faced five year old looks like a little man now. :)

    1. I know! He's getting so big! I almost can't handle it. I'm going to have a teenager soon.

  2. I can't even imagine how excited you were to get his report after going two years without one!!!!

    1. It was pretty great! I've gotten pictures of him in the last two years, because I've sent him money to buy things. They always send a picture with what he's bought. But, it's nice to hear about his schooling. The last I heard, he was in 1st grade. :)

  3. Wow! That's so great!! What a fun progress report too...I love that his favorite animal is a goat! And I also enjoyed reading how WV has helped him!

    1. I can't help but think that his favorite animal is a goat because he was able to buy a goat with some money I sent him. I'm glad to hear he likes goats! I need to ask him about his goat. I'm hoping that they've been able to use it. Maybe it's even had a baby!
