I know that I picture rooms full of kids, loud voices, laughter, children's songs, dancing with hand motions, games, and children's bibles.
I'm sure that you thought of something similar. Maybe give or take a few details.
Well, in rural Honduras, these types of fun, memorable Bible lessons just haven't been the norm for kids. Outside of attending church services with their parents or sitting still and listening to Bible stories, there have not been kid-friendly programs in rural Honduras.
That's where Manna 4 Lempira has stepped in! Because of sponsorship money, the organization was able to buy a Sunday School curriculum for the kids! For the past couple of months, leaders have been trained on, essentially, how to be crazy, haha. Leaders of children's ministry always need to be a little crazy.
Then, on this past Sunday, the lessons were debuted! Manna 4 Lempira works in several churches in rural Honduras and 4 of those churches shared photos of this momentous day. I have to say, it seems like the children enjoyed themselves.
